Floxy – BH

Description

Floxy-BH is a potent antibacterial and mucolytic solution combining Levofloxacin and Bromhexine Hydrochloride to treat severe respiratory infections in poultry, sheep, and goats. It effectively targets CRD, CCRD, Mycoplasmosis, Infectious Coryza, Salmonellosis, Colibacillosis, and other bacterial diseases. Levofloxacin provides broad-spectrum antibiotic action, while Bromhexine helps liquefy and clear mucus from the respiratory tract, improving breathing and recovery. Administered through drinking water, Floxy-BH ensures rapid absorption and reliable results, making it ideal for managing respiratory outbreaks and supporting overall flock and herd health.

Each ml contains:

• Levofloxacin Hemihydrate I.P. 100 mg

• Bromhexine Hydrochloride I.P. 7.5 mg

Levofloxacin

Levofloxacin is a third-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic, effective against a number of gram-positive, gram-negative and specially effective against the organisms that cause typical pneumonia.

Bromhexine Hydrochloride

Bromhexine is a mucolytic; it liquefies bronchial secretions and promotes its ejection from the respiratory tract.

Indication

For Poultry

• Severe respiratory infections like CRD (Chronic Respiratory Disease) & CCRD (Mycoplasma Complicated Chronic Respiratory Disease)

• For the control and treatment of severe respiratory infections caused by bacteria including Mycoplasmosis, Infectious Coryza, Salmonellosis, Fowl Cholera, Colibacillosis

• For antibiotic treatment before bacterial vaccination

For Sheep and Goat

• For the treatment of infections of the respiratory and alimentary tract

Dosage & Administration

For Poultry

• 1 ml / 10 kg body weight

• To be administered continuously for 3–5 days once daily in drinking water depending on the severity of infection

• Or as recommended by Registered Veterinary Practitioner only

Sheep and Goat

• 2.5 – 5.0 ml per 100 kg body weight for 3–5 days

• Or as recommended by Registered Veterinary Practitioner
